OUR MISSION

Currently, we are raising funds to support our travel to Uganda this June. We plan to visit and volunteer our time and gifts at the following orphanages and organizations:

Bright Kid's Uganda
Bright Kids Uganda has been operating since 2000 and is located in Entebbe, Uganda. The organization assists children from various backgrounds ranging from street kids, HIV/AIDS orphans, children who have been living at Internally Displaced Peoples’ Camps and those rescued from the rebels in Northern Uganda.

Bright Kids Uganda is committed to ensuring each child has four main rights:

1. The right to live.
2. The right to grow.
3. The right to participate in the personal development of oneself through education.
4. The right to participate in planning for their future.

Bright Kids Uganda Foundation, U.S.A is committed to raising funds on behalf of Bright Kids Uganda in Entebbe, Uganda and fully supports the mission stated above which was established  by the director of Bright Kids Uganda, Victoria Nalongo.

Good Shepard's Fold
Good Shepard's Fold exists to impact their community for Jesus Christ. They do this through nearly every aspect of their organization, including but not limited to: 

- Children's Home (home for children who have lost their parents or abandoned by them)
- GSF School (education for over 450 children of the surrounding villages)
- GSF Farm (where food is grown to sustain and serve children of the home and school)
- Feeding Program (to the babies and elderly of the community)
- Medical Outreach (medical aid to  those in the GSF feeding program)

We are grateful for the opportunity to serve where we feel there is so much need. If you chose to support us financially, 100% of your donations will go to fund our mission trip to Uganda. 

We are raising money for the following:
- Travel Expense
- Medicine and Medical Supplies 
- Clothing for the children
- School Supplies for the children
- Small Toys and Games for the children

We will be accepting specific donation items as well. We can only take as much as we can fit in two large tupperware containers. Our goal is to bring the necessities first, so we are accepting these donations:

- Clothing for Children (new or 2nd hand)
- Shoes and Socks (white only) for the Children (new or 2nd hand)
- Child's Underwear
- School Supplies (pencils, pens, long rulers, crayons, notepads)
- Toothbrushes, Toothpaste, Soap
